April is Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) Awareness Month in the UK, where 1 in 5 people will experience IBS at some point in their lives1.
But despite the prevalence of IBS, and the general increase in awareness, there is still embarrassment and uncertainty surrounding the disorder.
You can develop IBS at any age, but symptoms often develop between 20 – 30 years of age.
