Investment of £12 million in the faculty of Health and Life Sciences has created a first-class teaching and learning facility to help develop practical experience and theoretical knowledge that goes beyond the classroom. The university offers a wide range of programmes including Leadership and Management Degree Apprenticeships, which support the health and social care community to access high quality leadership development training.
DMU offers an innovative approach to learning that supports workforce needs. In addition, the university works in partnership with University Hospitals of Leicester to deliver the Nursing Associate programme.
