Routes into nursing roles supporting people with Learning Disabilities
The role of the learning disability nurse is an exciting role. For example, it involves working with people with conditions such as Autism, Downs Syndrome, Fragile X and so much more.
De Montfort University offer a Nursing with Registration (Learning Disability) BSc (Hons) course. You can find out more information here.
Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust are currently working on a training route to become a registered Learning Disability Nurse. We will publish more information here when it is available.
