Angiocatheter Suite Nursing is an area you may not have considered previously, however, as most of our procedures are under local anaesthetic although this role is similar to theatre nursing, there is a great deal of one to one patient contact.

You will therefore have the opportunity to build a unique relationship with your patient and make a profound difference to their lives.

This is particularly relevant when you start to work on-call as you will be part of the team who regularly save lives with the emergency intervention service for Heart Attack and Out of Hospital Arrest patients.

We offer:-

• A fully supported induction and training program which will last at least 8 weeks but will be tailored to the individual – (we do not ask for prior experience but acute care experience is an advantage).
• When you work on-call you will be paid at Band 6 rate.
• Regular in-house technical and clinical skills training sessions supported by industry.
• Rotation opportunities within Internationale Cardiology at Glenfield.
